Founded in 2019 by Mr. Akhil Gupta, a veteran of the telecommunications industry, and Mr. Ashok Barat, a veteran corporate leader, Inversion was established to fulfil 2 key objectives:
- Provide management support to companies having the potential to significantly improve their performance with strategic and functional interventions.
- Provide comprehensive management solutions to companies which are at varying levels of financial or operational distress by actively working with their stakeholders to turn the business around in a structured, goal-driven manner.

- Strengthen/ act as a surrogate Corporate Office for companies; supporting them with Inversion’s domain & functional expertise.
- Advise management on structuring long-term strategy.
- Advise companies on resource planning, negotiation of contracts, tenders, bids as well as other strategic & long-term business plans.
- Assist management in identifying opportunities for raising short & long-term finances.
- Ensure that companies adhere to the highest standards of corporate governance.
MENTOR
INTERNAL TEAMS
- Extend oversight, governance and mentoring support to businesses and their functional leadership teams.
- Assist in finding a suitable ‘mentor’ to senior management; typically, an industry expert from that sector who could also be appointed as the Chairman of the Board, if required.
- Provide a senior on-field resource who would act as a de facto Chief of Staff to the Managing Director’s office.
- Advise companies on optimising their organisational structure; identify existing gaps and map skills with business requirements.
