Who We Are

  • Founded in 2019 by Akhil Gupta, a veteran of the telecom industry and Ashok Barat, a seasoned corporate leader, Inversion provides comprehensive turnaround and performance optimisation solutions to companies in varying levels of financial or operational distress.

    Inversion was established to fulfil two key objectives:

    1] Provide management support to companies having the potential to significantly improve their performance with strategic and functional interventions

    2] Provide comprehensive management solutions to companies which are at varying levels of financial or operational distress by actively working with their stakeholders to turn the business around in a structured, goal-driven manner

What We Do

CORE OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

  • Provide support to operating teams across all functions
  • Work with companies to prepare Annual Operating Plans and medium-term business plans
  • Define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key business needs
  • Identify and provide solutions for mitigating operational & working capital inefficiencies
  • Assist companies in strengthening their controls, streamlining MIS and other reporting practices as required
  • Place on-ground personnel for timely and effective implementation of projects as well as execution and delivery of short, medium and long-term strategic initiatives

STRENGTHEN CORPORATE OFFICE

  • Strengthen/ act as a surrogate Corporate Office for companies; supporting them with Inversion’s domain and functional expertise
  • Advise management on structuring long-term strategy
  • Advise companies on resource planning, negotiation of contracts, tenders, bids as well as other strategic and long-term business plans
  • Assist management in identifying opportunities for raising short & long-term finances
  • Ensure that companies adhere to the highest standards of corporate governance

MENTORING

  • Extend oversight, governance and mentoring support to businesses and their functional leadership teams
  • Assist in finding a suitable ‘mentor’ to senior management; typically, an industry expert from that sector who could also be appointed as the Chairman of the Board, if required
  • Provide a senior on-field resource who would act as a de facto Chief of Staff to the Managing Director’s office
  • Advise companies on optimizing their organizational structure; identify existing gaps and map skills with business requirements
